Matlab Naming History:
Matlab in Chandpur form part of the Mir Mahabbat Ullah (R:) in accordance with the name of mahabbatpur Parganas. Baradiya, boalia, and some parts of sinhergao Parganas mahabbatpur Parganas were formed. In 1728, manufactured in 6456 Tk. revenue is the revenue of the money list. Mr. Sem, lived in the Dhaka city, it was the landlords Parganas. Work tasks for the management of the estate from his wisdom and wise man named matlaba Khan was sent as a deputy in the area. Matlaba Khan, dighaldi established the Office of the landlords in the village. The place is described as a landlord area. Jaganatgonj, was named the matlab.
